Our

Mission

If the Sanatan Dharm be the body, Gau Mata, the Sacred Cow is it’s soul.

Incumbent on every Sanatani, of every tradition and creed, lies a duty, extolled in the scriptures, and demanded by our seers, the protection and propagation of the Holy Gau Mata, the Sacred indigenous cows of the Indian subcontinent. Through ignorance and malpractice, the last century has seen a rapid decline in the breeds, and numbers of our treasured Gau Matas.

Our

Vission

In order to maintain the sanctity of the breeds, provide unparalleled service, and propagate the notion of cow-centric lifestyle, our founders, trustees, management and all those associated with Nandivan, have created a Vedic sanctuary, an abode reserved for the purest, rarest, and most sacred of the various breeds of Gau Mata.

Nandivan in located in Madhapar, Kutch, a region in western India, known for its majestic deserts, commitment to traditions, and as the home turf of one of the most ancient, aristocratic breeds of Bharat, the Kankrej.

गावो मे हृदये संतु गवां मध्ये वसाम्यहम्।।

May the Gau Mata be ahead of Me, behind Me and in My heart. I reside amidst the Cows.
